What is ENERGY WORK & SHAMANIC REIKI?

Energy healing techniques are based on the principle that the Energy Medicine/Reiki Practitioner can channel and manipulate energy into and out of the client by means of touch, to cleanse, balance, and activate the natural healing processes of the client's body and restore optimal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This work takes place in Shamanic Sacred Space.

Reiki Defined

​

Reiki is a form of energy healing that can help alleviate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual stress. It is a way to ‘tune-up’ your energy to it’s optimal state allowing for healing to take place. Reiki is a gentle and safe healing practice that is geared towards removing any energy blocks in our system caused by emotional, mental or physical stress, blockages, and pain.

 

During a Reiki Session a practitioner places his or her hands on the client with the intention of the Reiki Energy to flow. This Reiki energy, also known as the Universal Life Force Energy, is not the practitioner's energy. It is a divinely guided energy that knows exactly where the blocks are and pushes them out as well as fills up our energy centers wherever you are low in energy.

 

Reiki does not use the practitioner's energy, so it is safe for both the practitioner as well as the Reiki recipient. You do not run the risk of absorbing the practitioner's energy and vice versa. During a session a person may feel heat, tingling or cooling sensations as blocks are removed. Most all clients get to a deep state of peace and relaxation during a session.

Energy Work/Shamanic Reiki Session with Ricardo

 

 

First, Ricardo will ask you to fill out some paperwork and have you write out your intention for the visit and place it in the altar in the room. Next, there is a brief consultation where you will talk about what you would like to get out of the session. This is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

 

During a Energy Work/Reiki session, Ricardo may use one, or a combination of the following to Energetically Cleanse and Balance a person’s energetic body and bring them energetic alignment and grounding:  heart-to-heart talks, shamanic sacred instruments such as rattles, feathers, drums, candles, energy healing, hands-on-healing, crystals, incense, sage smudging, and aromatic healing waters, spray, and oils. The goal of the Energy Work/Reiki is to release the stagnant blocked energy in order to promote well-being, optimal flow, and a positive mental attitude.

 

Ricardo will next escort you onto the massage table (if the weather cooperates the session can take place outside in the garden laying on the massage table or on the grass). Soothing music and aromatherapy will be part of the session. You are only asked to remove your shoes. You remain fully clothed during the session.

 

Typically you will first lie on your back and Ricardo will place a covering over your eyes to help you relax. You may feel a slight touch of his hands gently lay on or over parts of your body. Certain issues may call for him to also use breath work or other healing tools. During a session some clients may feel heat or cooling, some might feel tingling, some might not feel anything at all. Almost all, however, feel a deep sense of relaxation that permeates their whole being.

 

After the session , You will be asked to take a few minutes to re-awaken to your surroundings. Ricardo provides you with some water to help you flush and release toxins out your system. Continue to drink water throughout the rest of the day. After the Reiki Session you get a chance to express how you are feeling and to discuss next steps if applicable.

Reiki Levels


Reiki is taught traditionally in 3 levels:

 

Reiki I is an introduction to Reiki, it's history and basic hand positions for healing yourself and others. Once you receive the Reiki I level attunement, you can begin using Reiki on yourself and others immediately following the Reiki I class.

 

Reiki II - Practitioner Level - introduces sacred symbols which aid in emotional and mental issues as well as distance Reiki which allows you to send Reiki across time and space.

 

Reiki III ART/Master gives you the opportunity to give attunements and initiate others into the art of Reiki. It is geared towards those that feel compelled to practice and/or teach Reiki on a more professional level.

Holy Fire Reiki I Class

 

Anyone can learn Reiki and begin practicing it immediately after taking the Reiki I class.

 

Prerequisite: None

 

In the Reiki I workshop you will learn:

 

  • Receive the Reiki Level 1 attunement that connects you to Reiki for life

  • Learn how Reiki Began

  • Learn the 5 Reiki Ideals (A great support in Life)

  • Understand the deeper meaning of Reiki

  • Connect with Your Reiki Guides

  • Perform a Reiki Session step by step - for yourself, family, and friends

  • Brief Reiki II introduction

 

You will walk away from this class with the ability to practice Reiki on yourself and others with confidence.

Holy Fire Reiki III Class

​

Holy Fire Reiki III ART is for those who feel that Reiki truly is a calling for them and want to acquire more Reiki and Energy Healing Advanced tools. In the Holy Fire Reiki III ART class you will learn the Reiki Master symbol,  How to give an Auric Clearing (also known as Psychic Surgery),  How to do the Reiki Moving Meditation, and How to Create a Reiki Crystal Grid.   Completing  the Reiki III ART class will then open the door to Reiki Master Teacher, should you choose to take your mastery to the next level.

 

Prerequisite: Reiki I & Reiki II Certificates, must have at least 6 months as Reiki II practitioner.

 

In the Holy Fire Reiki III ART Master 1-day workshop you will :

  • Learn Reiki III Master symbol

  • Experience Holy Love 1 Meditation

  • Learn Advanced Reiki Techniques (ART): Auric Clearing, using crystals with Reiki, and creating a Reiki Crystal Grid

  • Explore and discuss the concept of the Three Heavens

  • Learn How to practice the Reiki Moving Meditation

  • Experience Ocean of Holy Love Meditation

  • Receive the Advanced Reiki Attunement

  • Receive the Master Ignition if you plan to do The Reiki Master Class to become a teacher of Reiki

  •  

You will walk away from this class as a Reiki III advanced practitioner with the ability to create powerful and advanced healing in others.

Holy Fire Reiki II Class

​

Reiki II is a must for all Reiki I initiates. Reiki II brings a whole new level of Reiki to light through the use of symbols. With Reiki II you will get a richer and deeper understanding of this healing art as well as specific tools and techniques on how to use Reiki in practical, every day situations.

 

Prerequisite: Reiki I Certificate - preferably at least 21 days as Reiki I certified before signing up for Reiki II

 

In the Reiki II workshop you will learn:

  • Reiki II sacred symbols

  • To Focus Reiki energy at a deeper level

  • Healing at the physical, mental and emotional levels

  • Distance healing across time and space

  • How to remove negative energy

  • Protect people or spaces from negative Energy

  • Connect more deeply to your Reiki Guides

  • How to charge chakras

  • Get a brief Reiki I refresher

  • Brief introduction of Reiki III/Master

  • All the logistics to setting up a Reiki practice

 

You will walk away from this class with the ability to practice Reiki II as a practitioner on yourself and others with confidence, and start a Reiki Energy Healing practice.

Holy Fire Reiki III ART/Master Class

​

Holy Fire Reiki III/ART Master class you will learn the Reiki Master symbol, the Holy Fire symbol, how to give ignitions and attunements to others, how to teach Reiki and how to set up a professional Reiki teaching and healing practice. Please See the Reiki III ART Class for Day 1 description and learnings.

 

This class can be done as a 2 day training if you already have the Reiki III ART certification, or as a 3 day intensive class if you are combining Reiki III ART and the Reiki Master Class.

 

Prerequisite: Reiki I & Reiki II Certificates, must be at least 6 months as Reiki II practitioner.

 

In the Holy Fire Reiki III/ART Master 3-day workshop you will:

 

  • Learn Reiki III Master symbol

  • Holy Fire symbol

50% non-refundable deposit must be made 4 days prior to class, and the other 50% made at the beginning of class. Deposit, if needed, can be kept as a credit & used for a future class.

Per California State Law SB 577: Ricardo is not a licensed physician. REIKI is a complement to 'healing arts services licensed by the State', i.e., it is a complement to more traditional western medicine provided by doctors, nurses and hospitals. As a complementary or alternative medicine, REIKI does not require licensing by the state of California.
